| SpiriTel has completed the following acquisitions. All acquisitions have been incorporated into Spiritel Business:
April 2008: Acquisition of WN1 Communications
This was a transformational acquisition for SpiriTel as it completed our fully integrated voice and data communications offering by adding mobile services. WN1 is a leading accredited reseller of business mobile voice, data and converged Blackberry services, and holds key industry contracts as an O2 Advance Partner, T-Mobile Business Partner and a Blackberry Alliance Member. Aside from bringing a leading mobile product set, it also added almost 1,000 business customers to the SpiriTel Group, including Lufthansa, Servisair and Topps Tiles.
October 2007: Acquisition of tdotcom Limited
Tdotcom is an award winning supplier of voice and data systems and solutions to business customers across the UK. tdotcom brought a number of complementary products in addition to over 50 new customers including BBC Worldwide, The City of London and The Barbican.
March 2007: Acquisition of Ashland Group Limited
Our most significant acquisition to date was Ashland Group Limited. It brought new products including PBX and telephone hardware and maintenance, Internet and Wi-Fi, which complement SpiriTel’s existing IP based offerings. Ashland changed the scale and capabilities of SpiriTel by bringing increased customer service and technical support capabilities, including 24/7 customer care and nationwide engineering coverage. Apart from its leading position in the delivery of telephony and data services to the hospitality sector, Ashland brought comprehensive knowledge, expertise and award winning relationships, with leading manufacturers such as Mitel (Platinum Partner status) and Trapeze.
October 2006: Acquisition of Networks Direct (UK) Limited
Networks Direct provides a range of voice and data services to more than 300 UK-based SME’s. The transaction brought SpiriTel a strong presence in the legal sector.
September 2006: Acquisition of CallPlan Limited
CallPlan markets voice and data products and services on behalf of Australia’s national telecoms company, Telstra, through its network of independent agents. It has more than 170 customers that range from SME’s to FTSE-100 businesses.
